Youth Discipleship Weekend Away

Our annual discipleship weekend away is aimed at building relationship, empowering, inspiring and equipping young people to live their lives to the full with God.

Rules of Enjoyment

These are are general rules of enjoyment for all Energize Trips:

1. Respect leaders, each other, venues and equipment 2. Always follow the leader's instructions. 3. Stay in the area and never go off with someone you don’t know. 4. Have fun and stay positive (this includes with language, attitudes and behaviour)

Discipline process

If a young person is acting in a way that goes against one of the above rules, we will use our discretion to apply the following process. In serious cases, we reserve the right to sanction without a warning.

1. Informal resolution (try to sort out the issue informally; no need for a warning or sanctions) 2. Warning. If the behaviour continues, young person will be asked to sit out or leave the activity temporarily. 3. Sanction. If the behaviour continues, we will share with the young person that we would like them to sit out for the rest of the days activities. 4. Sent home If the behaviour still continues and continues to escalate, we will require parents to pay for their young person to take an unsupervised taxi home. In signing up to attend this trip, parents are agreeing to pay for the taxi home if, in the trip leader’s opinion, your young person is behaving in a way to seriously breach our rules of enjoyment and/or putting people at risk.

Travel Information

We will be travelling together, via minibus. The duration of the journey is approximately 45 minutes. Below are our departure and arrival times from Lincoln Centre to PGL Caythorpe and back

• Bible
• Pen
• Notebook
• Wash kit (including: soap, shampoo, toothbrush, tooth paste, baby wipes, deodorant)

• No wifi activities, e.g card games, books

• Any outstanding medical, consent and activity forms

Tickets are £90 per child.
