Lent & Fasting

Lent is an opportunity and season to make space for God in prayer and fasting. As we seek God together, we believe we're going to grow in intimacy and connection with our heavenly Father. We want to encourage you to take some time each week to pray.

Grantham

1. Good Friday Outreach
Pray for our Easter Treasure Hunt that we would connect with many families in the community, have amazing conversations about Jesus and see people take one step closer to Him.

Pray for our Streets Team who at the same time will out on the streets handing out invites to our Easter Sunday celebration.

Pray for great conversations about Jesus and opportunities to pray for people. Pray for all the invites to Easter Sunday handed out.
2. Easter Sunday Celebration Guest Service
Pray for many guests to come. Pray for people to have the courage to invite family, friends and neighbours.

Pray for the manifest presence of God. Pray for salvation and refreshing in Him.
3. Alpha starting on Monday 20th April
Pray for people to have the courage to invite family, friends and neighbours.

Pray for Jesus to meet with people and that we would see many surrender their lives to Him for the first time.

Horncastle

As we launch the new location of Alive into Horncastle in May 2026, let's join together to pray for:
1. Pray for those guiding the establishment of Alive Horncastle to themselves be guided by the Holy Spirit;
2. Pray for people to be drawn together by the Lord to establish, alongside the Location Pastors, Alive Church Horncastle;
3. Pray for the members of Life Church Horncastle as they prepare to move forward alongside others in establishing Alive Horncastle;

We've received a prophetic word that we would encourage you to pray into:
The east wind is blowing. Horncastle is a strategic place in the plan and purpose of God - a refuge city of refuge, shelter from the storm and fortress. The Lord's compassion and mercy will flow from His heart through yours and will draw many into the kingdom, words of life and hope will abound. Horn - symbolic of power and strength. Castle - military success and conquering the enemy - strong anointing and victory.

Lincoln North

1. Hunger for Prayer and Presence
Pray for more people at prayer gatherings, new personal prayer rhythms forming and clear testimonies of encountering Jesus.
2. Wisdom for Leadership
Pray for unified decisions, clear direction, the right people released into roles and needed resources arriving at the right time.

3. Salvations and Transformed Lives
Pray for new believers, increased baptisms, new outreach initiatives launching and regular stories of life change.
4. Favour for the Ermine Exchange
Pray for successful funding bids, strong NHS and Council partnerships, a healthy team and measurable growth in community impact.

Lincoln South

1. Greater depth of Discipleship and Spiritual Formation

Pray that as a location so we can step into all that God has for us and our community.
2. Community Hub

Pray that open doors for a suitable space and the finance to make this happen and for our community projects to grow.
3. Youth

Pray for relationships to be built locally so that our club and schools work can become really established in Hykeham.

Gainsborough

1. Pray for wisdom and provision of finance to purchase a new home and building for Alive Gainsborough.
2. Pray continued growth in numbers and for revival to come to Gainsborough and the surrounding area.
3. Pray for the development of leaders within the location and to see an increase in the numbers able to volunteer.
