We are excited to bring all the Alive locations youth together for a fun time away at the Lincolnshire Showground.  There will be main sessions, seminars, prayer, after hours, sports, games, food and time to hang out together.

The youth weekend will finish on Sunday afternoon as part of our A Day To Be Alive whole Church event programme.

WHERE IS THE YOUTH WEEKEND AWAY EVENT?

HOW MUCH IS THE YOUTH WEEKED AWAY?

The youth weekend is £55 per young person, this includes all meals (not the McDonalds option).

WHAT DOES MY YOUNG PERSON NEED TO BRING?

We suggest the following for camping and the afternoon games - sleeping bag, extra blankets, trainers, waterproof coat and toiletries. Spare pair of trousers and top.

Bring your own snacks, although there will be a tuck shop on site.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

Our Youth Team will provide the meals as outlined in our programme. We ask that any dietary requirements are included in your booking details when buying. ticket.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER ISN'T GOOD?

We have a wet weather plan in place and the Youth Team will communicate this to our young people. 

WHAT ABOUT EMERGENCIES DURING THE WEEKEND?

We have a youth weekend risk assessment which outlines our mitigation for any Health and Safety risks.

We have onsite first aid trained staff and volunteers. 

We have an emergnecy phone number on site which is shown on the map attached.

The Lincolnshire Showground have onsite SIA trained security staff patrolling both the Friday and Saturday night.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE WEEKEND?

We want to see our young people encounter God, create friendships with other youth across the Alive locations and learn more about the Christian faith.  From our experience, Youth Weekends are vital in a young persons discipleship journey and something that brings joy and purpose to their lives.

Saturday 16th May 
 

9.00am - 10.00am Breakfast

10.30am - 12.30pm Main Session 

12.30pm - 1.30pm Lunch

1.30pm - 4.00pm Free Time (sports & hangs)

4.00pm - 5.00pm Seminars 

5.00pm - 7.00pm Tea (McDonalds option - supervised)

7.30pm -9.30pm Main Session
